Here is the October 2026 ranking of the romance and romantasy books on The New York Times Combined Print & E-Book Fiction Best Sellers list.
October had 10 romance and romantasy books on the list, including another holiday romance (A Married Little Christmas by Abby Jimenez). Two big releases also dropped this month: Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros and A Court of Splintered Harmony by Sarah J. Maas.
5 of the 10 books (50%) also appeared on the October 2026 Amazon Kindle Store Romance Best Sellers list (full list and analysis coming soon).
Note: I didn’t include Verity by Colleen Hoover on this list, even though Amazon categorizes it as Romance (I categorize it as Mystery & Thriller).
